The Hydro-Mist eliminates
perc-contaminated waste water produced by distillation, water
separators, vacuum units and cartridge dryers. A set of primary
and secondary carbon cartridges purify contaminated water, which
is siphoned through an air pressure system producing a fine "Cool"
mist.
Meets E.P.A.
The Hydro-Mist is exempt as a treatment unit under
U.S.E.P.A. and MEETS E.P.A. regulations. An activated carbon
system can bring the perc concentration of the waste water below
0.7 ppm before evaporation.
Safety
Separator System
The Hydro-Mist has a built-in safety solvent-water
separator that is equipped with a perc separation chamber and a
visual float indicator to tell the operator if there is excess
perc present in the Cartridge cavity that should be drained. The
Safety Separator system prevents any free perc from entering the
atmosphere.
"Cool"
Fine Purified Mist
The Nozzles evaporate the cleaned water as a "Cool"
fine purified mist without the use of pumps, steam, heat or
electricity.
Specialized
Carbon Cartridges
The Hydro-Mist has two highly
specialized carbon cartridges through which the water is
percolated very slowly. This slow upward flow of the contaminated
water through the carbon cartridges allows for the adsorption of
Perc molecules. This purified water is then "Misted"
to the atmosphere at less than 0.1 ppm of perc. Kleen-Rite recommends
replacing cartridges (KR-P/N 002226) every 3 months.
